As a former economist and credit analyst, I worked on both the buy-side and sell-side for around nine years before starting Arbitrage Search in 2011.

Since then, our team has worked with many of the world's biggest hedge funds and banks. It's still great to talk with people in macro strategy and economics every day.

Having been a decent QBasic programmer as a teenager, I decided to refresh my skills during the 2020 lockdown and attended a programming bootcamp (4Geeks Academy in Miami!).

Once I mastered Python, I dove into machine learning, and this project eventually grew out of that experience.
